Show the sign for "sit" then use classifier "c" handshapes to show the relative size and shape of the couch.

After you've established that you are talking about a couch, drop the first part of the sign.  Or, if you are already talking about furnishings and your living room, you don't need the first part of the sign. You might also want to check out the sign for CHAIR.
