Sign: STUDENT
Hold the left (or "non-dominant") hand out flat. Take the right (or dominant) hand and and grab some
imaginary information off of the palm of the left hand. Lift that
information up and stick it in your head. Then show the
person sign.
STUDENT (or "Learner" = "LEARN-PERSON")
Memory aid: The sign STUDENT holds the non-dominant hand out in front
of you as if resting a book flat on it. Then use the dominant hand and
reach down to the palm of the non-dominant hand and grab some "imaginary"
information off of the palm and stuff it in your head, then sign the PERSON
sign.
Note: The more "casually" you do the sign student, the more the sign looks
as if you are throwing away a piece of paper.
